Dear Bernadette
I hope you are well I see Brian Clement is in Galway.  I am going to try to make Its great that he is so accessible.
I am doing great,Bernadette.  I had repeat scans which were stressful but all’s well that ends well.  The results were very good and the ribs where the cancer had spread to are healing! I’m off all medication and now I feel that I have a real chance to turn everything around.
I’m doing well with your supplements and programme and I really appreciate all I have learned from you.  My diet is fully raw … its all about advance organisation which can be a challenge when work is busy…. but my priorities are different now.
 Thanks again Rita

Hi Bernadette, I would like to say a huge thank you for the fabulous weekend at Grove House. It was a most informative weekend. The whole lay out of the three days was fantastic. The information you sent us home with will be life changing. I can’t wait to get started. I acutally feel a change already. Thank you for your time and for the great courage you had to do all of this and then share it with all. You are a pure marvel. Thank you also to the people of Grove House, what a wonderful place. Relaxation, peace, wonderful food and most of all the welcome and the feeling that you had arrived at an oasis of pure calm. God Speed,
Regards, Sheila.

I was very fortunate to have had opportunity recently to attend a three day Wellness programme with Bernadette Bohan in Shanballymore ,North Cork. I have been battling cancer for past seven years. This weekend was inspirational, stimulating, and gave great hope.Bernadette described herself as an ordinary housewife. She is an extroardinary woman,a great speaker and wonderful communicator. She has written two well researched books. Many cancer patients travel the world to clinics looking for a cure.We are so fortunate to have an opportunity like this on our doorsteps in Cork. My sincerest thanks to all involved and every good wish with future cources.

“I attended Bernadette’s Wellness Programme in May 2010. I had previously read Bernadette’s books and attended a short seminar so I was familiar with some of her workshop material. I found the 3 days of the programme to be inspiring, uplifting, at times challenging and overall, highly educational. I found it very enabling that while she was challenging us in terms of our views / beliefs about food and about taking personal responsibility for our well being, she was also providing us with loads of practical ways of making the change. The final session on the programme was focused on “taking the learning home” and in that Bernadette looked at attitude, motivation and commitment. I thought that was a great way to finish off the programme. It underlined the difference between taking in information as opposed to taking action! Prior to attending the programme, I had already made a number of changes based on reading her books and the initial seminar. Having attended the workshop, I am now committed to making further significant changes in my approach to nutrition and self-healing. I think that Bernadette’s work is a great gift to those who get to experience it – I have told her that and I hope that she continues to being her insights to en ever-widening audience. There is so much advertising and conditioning out there that we need more of this type of commonsense, self-empowering information as an antidote!”

Dear Bernadette,
I felt I just wanted to contact you after very recently reading your book.  From beginning to end I found it un-put-downable.  I admired your courage, tenacity and your determination to get through your terrible illnesses.  So much good has come from your experience in your ability to help others that I feel fate must have played its part.
I am a very healthy 48 year wife to Chris and we have three beautiful daughters.  I have an interest in health, nutrition & hydration and I also work for the NHS in occupational therapy on an elderly care ward.  I plan to make some small changes in my life to help me remain fit so will use your resource infomation in my quest to do this.
Thank you, Jo

Dear Bernadette I live in South Africa and have both of your books ~ I love your “change simply” concept ~ well done. I have too many books (it gets confusing!), but your two are my favorite. I hope you won’t mind answering a couple of questions for me. I’m 46 years old, married, and a mother of two. ~ I’m very much an “all or nothing” type of person, am very aware that “you are what you eat”, but because I tend to get too strict with myself, I keep “falling off the wagon”, which frustrates me! I’m about 10 – 12kgs overweight (also frustrating) ~ but am very fortunate that I haven’t had to go through what you have. I know I NEED to cut out sugary things (comfort food!) because they make me emotional and I don’t like myself too much when I consume them! I have finally realised that when I don’t eat well I’m continually hungry, realising that I have to “feed my cells” with the goodness from juicing / smoothies & barley/wheatgrass powder etc., then I feel satisfied, and my moods are more stable…………. Thanks again for your time.
Well done on “helping the world, one person @ a time”
Kind regards, Brenda Hulett

Bernadette, Since we spoke by ‘phone many things have happened. Just to refresh your memory. I was diagnosed with Mantle cell Lymphoma on November 19th 2007. My consultant suggested I have Chemo. I declined this when he said there is a risk of complications due to weakning of the immune system. In the meantime I went juicing veg and wheatgrass. When he brought me in for a scan in Feb he discovered the Lymph nodes in the Stomach area had reduced by 50% while the ones in the chest area had not increased. I feel very well T.G. I’m always busy.
Thank you for your help and inspiration in this matter. Mike Kelly

Hi Bernadette, John my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer on 24th April last and the psa reading was extremely high at 190. It had also spread significantly. My sister had seen you on television and arrived with your two books the next day. At the time I was distraught and thought there was nothing I could do. I was delighted to find there was something. I read the first book first so that I could start immediately and ordered the juicer and water system the next day. We have been growing wheat grass, sprouting and juicing since and on 24th July exactly 3 months later we were thrilled to be told that the reading was down to one point nine, which is remarkable. Johnson was of course also taking medication and injections as prescribed by his consultant but we definitely feel the change in diet was significant in his recovery. I just want to let you know your book was a lifesaver to us at the time and indeed so many people have remarked on how well he is looking on this diet that it has been passed around to family and friends.
Thanks again and keep up the good work. Margot

Hi Bernadette, Just finished reading your book, ‘The Choice’ and I experienced every emotion throughout reading the book, you coming through the other side of something as serious as cancer twice is truly inspiring! I got into juicing and treating my body as a temple by my Mum’s example a year ago and have never looked back. Seeing my mum change from somebody who was always tired and had addictions to certain foods, to now having loads of energy and just looks and feels amazing. I used to drink 4 pints of milk a day, thinking it was the perfect food for building muscle (good for the bones!). I really do feel like a kid with loads and loads of energy again and its infectious on the people I know, However, I have a nagging feeling that what all is being said isn’t getting through to enough people – despite your amazing efforts in probably saving some peoples lives. I am in University and I have had some heated discussions about the subjects of food advertising, sugar and milk and it just seems that the majority of the Western world has got the wrong idea about food and drink. Hippocrates said thousands of years ago, ‘let food be thy medicine, and medicine thy food’ and how we seem to have reversed that statement. Apparently 85% of cancers are caused by what we put into our bodies, breast cancer is non existent in Japan as said in your book, and just think about animals. Animals that live in the wild, and eat instinctively, don’t get cancer, heart disease or any other diseases that we get! I’ve so many questions that I want answered, it angers me sometimes. For instance why don’t hospital serve up fresh fruit and vegetable juices as well as other enzyme rich food? Doctors etc know that it is vital for ‘full’ and lifelong recovery and buying that kind of produce is much cheaper. There is too much information around, even within the field of juicing and health itself, this approach of lots of information is good but it is often so contradictory people diet and get confused always leading back to addictive ‘comforting’ foods. More needs to be done to stop junk food advertising and inform people correctly and impartially with the ‘right’ facts – what you put in your body comes out either good or bad. You couldn’t be doing more yourself, I applaud you for that. All I can do myself is learn and learn, I am hungry for more knowledge, and tell people facts that just instinctively seem right. Thanks for such a fantastic and inspiring read, I will now be passing the book onto my mum!

I just finished my 25 sessions of radio therapy today. It ran really smoothly. I was the first patient to finish treatment in the new Whitfield Clinic in Waterford. I bought the juicer and use it every day, I am growing sprouts and grass and I got the water system in. I took garlic as you reccommended and it all paid off.Consultant and girls in the unit cant beleive the way I have sailed through Thanks for all your tips your talk obviously paid off well in Cork for me.
Love and good health Marian

Hi Bernadette,
It was great to see you at the market on Saturday, give you the good news about Dave and thank you in person for the help and support we have gotten from you and your story over the last nine months.
The past nine months have been the most difficult we have ever experienced (and please God ever will), needless to say there was no need for us to include that we would support one another in sickness and in health in our wedding vows last August(!!!), but thank god we have come out the other side even stronger and more in love.
I hope that we will stay in contact and as I said on Saturday, if Dave and I can be of any help or support to any member of your flock(!!!) it would be a privilege.
Good health and best wishes.
Helen
