Sometimes I have to get creative to keep my youngest daughter Julie interested in preparing her own healthy foods. As I tried to nurture her passion for healthy foods, we came up with this berry smoothie. She has moved on now to green drinks but this one helped her through the transition phase. If you are lactose intolerant this smoothie is made with Moooo free ingredients. Berries are amazing for your skin as they help promote the production of collagen which is a part of the connective tissue that helps the elasticity and constant renewal of skin cells.

Mooo Free Shake

 

‘Fussy, picky eaters they will love this smoothie.’

What you need

  • ¼ cup of strawberries
  • ¼ cup of raspberries
  • ¼ cup of pure water
  • 1 banana
  • 3 drops of stevia
  • Handful of ice

What you do

  • Blend all the ingredients until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Add ice and serve.
