Healthy Watermelon Ice-lollies

Bernadettes Healthy Watermelon Ice lolliesWith this fabulous heatwave gripping Ireland these refreshing, healthy ice pops will cool you and the kids in no time. It's great to know the kids are enjoying a treat that isn't full of preservatives and colouring.

What you need

1 watermelon
Juice of 1 lime
Ice lolly moulds

What you do

Chop the watermelon into triangular pieces and process with the lime juice.
Pour into moulds and stick them in the freezer until the right moment and enjoy nature’s not-so-guilty cooling treat.

It's that simple and what a great way to stay hydrated. With the lovely weather we are enjoying it's so important we stay hydrated, especially children.


I made these with my Granddaughter Ella the other day and she loved creating her own treats and waited with anticipation until they were frozen. She really enjoyed the fruits of her labour.
